If the true identity of India is to be given, then the beauty of its land is hidden not only in the mountains, rivers or historical monuments, but also in the selfless works of the saints-mahants here for the nation, the mystical life vision and the sage tradition. This holy land has preserved the principles of spirituality and culture for centuries to this day and that too not only in the scriptures, but also in the form of living rituals. The saints here are not only preachers, they are living examples of a life of sacrifice and meditation. Through whom this nation is becoming united, joyful and energetic.
Those saints - devotees living in remote tribal areas who convey the culture to the last class of society through Bhajan, Kirtan, Jaap, Seva Yajna and moral education. They have always made an unparalleled contribution in the work of protecting self-religion and eternal culture. Their work is never taken into account or even discussed anywhere. Yet, the impact of their selfless sacrifice of religious service is so deep that it makes the entire community and the nation sensitive, strong and holy. Keeping in mind the need for the recognition, respect and literary support of such tribal devotees, who are like priceless gems in this world, Shri Swaminarayan Gyanpeeth – Salvav (USA) organized an unprecedented event — Virat Hindu Sant
Bhagat Sammelan.
This conference is not just a simple program but a comprehensive spirit. Where devotion and spirit are organized, where “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam” comes alive in the true sense. This program gives the message that religion is not just a teaching, it is a companion at every stage of life. Honoring the devotees who guide us in this journey of life with faith is the national religion.
Objective and Speciality
The main objective of this conference is to do inspiring works to sustain Hinduism and Hindus in their own religion in the Nagar Haveli, South-Central Gujarat area. During this program, all of them were honored by Shri Kapil Swami by giving them the inspiring knowledge that they are the true protectors of Hinduism, and their confidence and respect were honored by him. Every day, Bhajans are sung in the village through musical instruments. This has been the main and sacred goal that the Hindu community should gather and protect their own religion.
In this Mahayagna organized by Shri Swaminarayan Gurukul – Salvav under the guidance of Pujya Shri Kapil Swamiji, 300 Bhagat Mandals were given musical instruments like khanjari, dholak, manjira, kartal and ghughra and were honored with shawls in faith.
In the program equipped with L. E. D. sound, the people present also took the benefit of the “Mann Ki Baat” program conducted by our Pradhan Sevak.
Apart from other service activities, the leading workers of the society who are constantly working for the nation were also honored.
Special guests and presence
In this grand yagna, P.H. Guruvarya Purani Swami Keshavcharandasji (Salvav) presided over the ceremony and gave guidance. Saints and dignitaries of the Vedic tradition from across the country were also present. Bharatiya Janata Party, V. H. P. and Shri Swaminarayan Vadtal Sanstha were also part of this program. About 2500 people from the surrounding villages happily joined this program. At the end of the program, everyone had a delicious meal.
No culture can survive without the blessings of saints. Today, when the world is experiencing a loss in human values, the contribution of such saints keeps the Indian society strong. With the diligent efforts of Shri Swaminarayan Gyanpeeth – Salvav (USA), with the donations of donors, this program was not just a conference, but became a spiritual festival embracing the ideal of “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam”.
