Land of Saints – India and “Virat Hindu Sant Bhagat Sammelan” a Global Message
If India is to be truly identified, then the beauty of its land is hidden not only in the mountains, rivers or historical monuments, but also in the selfless deeds of its saints, the mystical life vision and the tradition of the sages. This holy land has preserved the principles of spirituality and culture for centuries and that too not only in the scriptures, but as a living sacrament till this day. The saints here are not just preachers, they are living examples of a life of sacrifice and asceticism. Through whom this nation is becoming united, joyful and energetic.
Those saints-devotees living in remote tribal areas who, through Bhajan, Kirtan, Jaap, Seva Yajna and moral education, convey the culture to the lowest strata of society. Their contribution to the protection of self-religion and eternal culture has always been unparalleled.
Their work is never taken into account or even discussed anywhere. Yet, the impact of their selfless sacrifice of religious service is so deep that it makes the entire community and the nation sensitive, strong and holy. Keeping in mind the need for the recognition, respect and literary support of such devotees, who are like priceless gems in this world, Shri Swaminarayan Gyanpeeth – Salvav (USA) organized an unprecedented event — Virat Hindu Sant Bhagat Sammelan
This Sammelan is not just an ordinary program. It is a comprehensive spirit. Where devotion and spirit are organized, where “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam” comes alive in the true sense. This program gives the message that religion is not just a teaching, it is a companion at every stage of life. It is the national religion to honor the devotees who guide us in this journey of life with faith.

Purpose and Speciality
A grand Hindu Bhagat Sammelan was organized by Shri Swaminarayan Gyanpeeth, Salvav-Vapi (USA) on Sunday, 6-7-2025, at Sunargi Primary School, Dadra Nagar Haveli, Union Territory. It was organized grandly under the blessings of Sant Shri Guruvarya Purani Swami Keshavcharandas of Salvav and under the chairmanship of Purani Swami Kapiljivandasji.
This program was organized at the beginning of the eleventh day of the month of Devshay and the holy month of Chartumas. While outlining the program, Ramaswamy called for bhajan singing and the program began with Krishna bhajans sung by the children of Shri Swaminarayan Gurukul Salvav and the music of Madhav Swami. After that, after lighting the lamp by the saints and guests present, Pujya Purani Swami Kapiljivandasji, addressing the program, said that today is the beginning of the holy month of Chartumas and the Ekadashi of Devshaya, when a unique gathering of saints and devotees is being witnessed here, it is the duty and responsibility of all of us to protect and preserve the eternal culture. For hundreds of years, attempts to harm the eternal culture were being made by the heretics and are continuing even today. When greed is being given to the poor and naive tribal people to convert to other religions, it is the responsibility of all of us to bring those who have left Hinduism and converted to other religions back to Hinduism, explain the greatness of Sanatan Dharma, welcome them to the Sanatan culture that has a great heritage and legacy, and constantly call upon everyone to come forward to bring them back to Sanatan Dharma.
Furthermore, Kapil Swamiji said that we have received this human life after wandering in 84 lakh wombs. We have received human life by drinking as much milk as there is water in the ocean and that too in the great Sanatan Dharma. Sanatan culture teaches kindness, love and compassion, patriotism, high thoughts and a sense of cooperation with each other. In every difficult time of life, you should take refuge in God, nothing else is known except faith and trust in God. If your faith and trust are true, then there is a guarantee that you will come out of every difficult situation with strength.
If you do not do devotion and bhajan, then the eternal culture will decline. To protect the eternal culture, do devotion every day - go to the temple with your family, create a devotional atmosphere at home and inform the children about the eternal culture. Today, it is also becoming very important to protect the temples.
You do not need to fight a war to protect the eternal culture, but if they act against our eternal religion, then you must resist, he called upon the saints and devotees present.
While Chinmaya Swamiji, who was present in the program, said that it is not necessary to fight against the heretics but to protect them. If we want to keep the eternal culture immortal, it is necessary to turn towards devotion. It is necessary to protect the culture. Many heretics are working to break the culture of Sanatan Dharma but we should not abandon Sanatan Dharma and always remain connected with Sanatan. For this, devotees are given gifts of vanjitras to Bhajan Mandals to keep up the association of saints.
In this program, information about the distribution of mango leaves to tribal farmers and free education of poor tribal girls was also given by Pujya Kapil Swamiji. Also, the organization provides free education, accommodation, clothes and all the necessary things to destitute girls in Gurukul
